2024, a year of recognition and growth for Skills Upload Jr

Skills Upload Jr, Vodafone Foundation's programme in Europe, concludes the year 2024 with well-deserved recognition both at European level and in the countries belonging to the initiative.
At European level, Skills Upload Jr has been shortlisted for the European Digital Skills Awards 2024 in the Education category. The awards recognise the contributions of projects and organisations dedicated to equipping people with essential digital skills.
DigitALL, the project of Vodafone Foundation in Portugal, was the national winner of the World Summit Awards in the Learning and Education category. This initiative selects and promotes the best digital content and innovative applications with the aim of making the benefits of the Information Society accessible to everyone. Moreover, it was selected in the final shortlist out of more than 180 international projects as one of the world top Learning and education projects by the WSA International Jurors.
Furthermore, LV8, the programme of Vodafone Foundation in Italy, won the Green Economy Award in the Social Sustainability category. This award, promoted by the For Human Community Association, is aimed at valuing and rewarding Italian companies that have distinguished themselves for integrating sustainability and wellbeing into their strategy and daily practices.
Another example is Generation Next, the education programme of Vodafone Foundation in Greece, which received the Silver Award at the Hellenic Responsible Business Awards 2024 in the Digital Education & Skills category for its efforts to generate a sustainable and positive impact on society, the environment and the economy.
Last but not least, the Spanish Vodafone Foundation won the Education Innovation Awards 2024 in the “Foundations with an impact on education” category. These awards recognise the work carried out by educational centres, educational institutions and foundations in the field of educational innovation.
